Things Jared Says....

You know, it really does make my face sad when I see my lack of posting. I really do mean to be better, but when all you do is go to work all day life gets kinda boring. However, happy news..this semester is already half over! I can't even believe it! I feel like it just started! The other day in the mail we got Jared's Associates Degree in Pre-Engineering. It was pretty awesome and got us super exctied for May when he gets his Bachelors. I know they say not to wish your life away, and I'm not, just the next 7 months...
I do want to take a minute and tell Jared how proud I am of him, though. He never complains about anything and I admire that so much about him. He is such a hard worker and so dedicated to his schoolwork. He is completely committed to giving his family a good life and I could not ask for a better husband. I just love him so much and I want him to know that, because I might tease him just a little bit here...

Just remember how much I love you, Jared....

One of Jared's quirks happens to be that he may or may not pronounce things the wrong way...or say the complete wrong word altogether...or mess up a joke or saying.
I think its adorable, trust me, I do...

*He thinks a "Double Wide" trailer is called a "2 Wide"

*Instead of saying "Cut a Rug" he says, "Cut a Carpet"

mind you, he is not doing this to be funny. In his head it is correct...

*"Tournament" he pronounces "Turdament"

*"Pittsburg" is "Picksburg"

*The other day he said if he didn't eat soon he was going to "wilter away"

*He never wants to be the "blunt" of your jokes

I'm sure there are more but that will do for now. And Love, I think you are the cutest thing to ever walk the face of the Earth and I'm glad you are a good sport.

There Is Beauty All Around....

I am going to try my best to desccribe how much I love the Fall. I love it! I love the leaves so much it is almost ridiculous. The other day after work/school Jared and I decided to take a four-wheeler ride up Willard Peak and look at the leaves. It was making me so happy. It is just beautiful...nature is beautiful. I have such happy feelings when the Fall rolls around. It makes me want to take out my Snuggie, make some hot cocoa, and carve a pumpkin!
While we were up there I decided to take a picture of something else I like to look at too (even though his mouth is full of sunflower seeds).

Go Aggies, Go Aggies, HEY HEY HEY!!!!

Last weekend was Peach Days and I was kind of excited about this. Believe it or not, I grew up in Box Elder County and had yet to ever attend Peach Days. So this was the year...unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. We were there for about 15 minutes before we decided we were bored. However, it had taken us a good 45 minutes to find a parking spot..imagine that. So after our 15 minutes were up we decided to just go over to the USU football game.
The house was PACKED!!!! It was awesome and the Aggies played surprisingly well. They ended up winning 38-17. I have never in my life witnessed them playing so well so it was enjoyable. Jared's sister, Jennie, came with us and we had a fab time!
It was 9/11 so they did a little moment of silence and tribute.

Idaho St. didn't stand a chance...
Good times. I love football season and going to games. I feel like we will be doing this more often.

Date Night....

Last Friday night we went on a date at the batting cages at Toad's. I love Toad's by the way. They have all the good stuff...driving range, arcades, mini golf, batting cages, go karts. Jared and I had never done the batting cages before so it was good. I am not very good but not as terrible as I imagined.
Unfortunately Jared forgot to take any pics of me but here are some of him....

It was good to go out on a date. I don't remember the last time we had a Friday night together like that, so it was fun.

Campin' At the Sinks...

This past weekend was Labor Day, just in case you were not aware. As a kid my family would always go camping on Labor Day, it was tradish. In fact, we would pretty much go camping 3/4 of the summer. I loved it! I love camping...it is just so relaxing. Obviously I prefer going with a trailer, but since Jared and I have no trailer or truck to pull it with we are forced to go in tents. Which I can tolerate for a weekend. The best part though...the four-wheeling.

We camped on the Sinks Road which is my favorite camping area in Logan Canyon. We would go there all the time and it's just gorgeous there. The four-wheeling trails are amazing and it just brought back a lot of good memories. And sometimes its better to have good memories to cover up some of the bad ones. The whole weekend I was thinking about my dad and my cousins, going on four-wheeler rides over to Elk Valley, building huts, building jumps to ride take our bikes over. Good, happy memories that I never want to lose.

So anyway, we went with Matt and Amy and had such an awesome time(well, I don't know if Amy so much loved it...). We sat by the fire, played some games, ate a lot of junk food, and went on lots of four-wheeler rides. Everything to make up a good camping trip. On Saturday we packed all 7 of us on 2 four-wheelers and went on a good, long ride. Here we are during one of our breaks.
Matt, Amy, Porter, and Cooper were on the front four-wheeler and Jared, Chloe, and Me were on the back one.
Jared cookin' up some dinner...
Matt and Amy left Sunday morning and Jared and I stayed until that night so we went on a couple more rides. The views are beautiful..This one is on the trail to Temple Peak.
Bear Lake in the distance.....
We had so much fun and I can't wait to go again. Thanks Matt and Amy for coming with us. It was a good time!
