Summer Has Arrived...

Jared likes to golf.

Of course, it's a game isn't it?

However, with school and the cold weather he hasn't had a chance to go yet. Every time we would drive past the Golf Course I would hear, "That's what I should be doing!" He really wanted to go this week sometime but his dad had knee surgery and his brother was busy.

Poor Jared.

Yesterday I got off work early and offered to walk with him while he golfed.

I figured I could at least get a tan while I watched.

Win-Win situation.

It really was quite fun! And a work-out! There are a lot of hills. It felt so good to be outside and sweat a little. Plus, it was good to go with Jared. I asked him if it was weird to golf with me while I made comments like, "Do these shoes look good with these pants?" I have a feeling he and his brothers don't talk about things like that when they golf.

I like to watch him golf. He started out a little rusty but started doing pretty well after a few holes. Now he's all warmed up for his turdament, I mean, tournament next Friday.

Handsome Graduate...

Graduation Day finally came!

It was a very happy day!

Jared and one of his Professors Dr. Cripps.

Afterwards we had a small party at Adams Park in Logan. We had lots of family come and support Jared and I know he really appreciated it, I know I did! We both have such great families and we love them all so much! Thanks everyone for helping Jared and I in this journey!

I suprised Jared with a stay at Anniversary Inn that night. We hadn't stayed at the one in Logan since we got married so I felt we were due for a stay. We stayed at the Lake Powell Suite and loved it! The ceiling had twinkle lights and the walls were made of rock, totally felt like we were outside. Awesome!

And there's our breakfast...

Jared, I am so proud of you. I have personally witnessed how hard you have worked every day for the last 4 years. You have missed out on a lot because of studying, doing projects, and homework for countless hours. I am so excited for you! All of your hard work has finally paid off! You are so smart and dedicated to doing your best!

I love you Jared!

Job well done!!!

More Done and Done Than Ever Before....

Today was Jared's very last day of school...

He took his very last final and then tonight he had to display his Senior Project for the public.

He worked in a group of four and they built a small security system. They had 3 small doors set up with badges to scan. It had 3 levels of security; one door you just scanned the badge, the second door had a camera that took a picture each time the badge was scanned, and the third door had a key-code to type in after the badge had been scanned. If the door was ever opened without authorization an alarm would sound and text messages and emails would be sent to a list of people saying there was a security breach.
It was really neat to actually see the project I had heard so much about and had taken so much of Jared's time this last semester. He and his group worked so hard and it all paid off. Together they all put in close to 700 hours on this project! Well done!
It made me so proud of him! Not everyone can say that their husband could build a security system and write all the programming for it. He is so smart and I couldn't be prouder!

(From L to R: Kurt, Dan, Mike, and the handsome one in the yellow tie and Jared)

I don't think it has really sunk in for either of us yet.

He's finished!

El Fin!

Done and Done!

Let the celebrating begin!
