Called To Serve...

Jared's parents have been talking about serving a mission ever since his dad retired over a year ago. Well, a few months ago they got really serious about it and Thursday they finally received their call. We all went over to watch them open it and had a little BBQ to celebrate.

(Drum roll please....)

SAN FERNANDO, CALIFORNIA!

We are so excited for them but at the same time we are sad to see them go. They leave July 16, 2012 and it will be so crazy for them to be gone. However, they will be great missionaries! They raised such wonderful children and have always been a great examples to me personally. They are just amazing people and they will influence the lives of people in California as much as they have influenced ours.

Congratulations Richard and Susan! We love you! 

Also, there may be a Griswold Family Vacation in the works to visit.

They are only 1 hour away from Disneyland afterall...
