JASON ALDEAN!!

Yesterday was wonderful. FINALLY the day had come for Jason Aldean to come in concert and I'm a little bit of a fan. To say I was excited might have been an understatement.

We went down early and did some shopping at The Gateway. I love shopping.

Shopping+Jason Aldean Concert x dinner at Rodizio Grill=One of the best days ever.

(See, I am good at mathematics)

  Thompson Square was one of the Opening Acts and even though I only knew a couple of their songs I quite enjoyed them. They put on a good show and were funny. I applaud.

 And give them a Thumbs UP!!

 Then Chris Young came on, and I was kind of excited about this but ended up being disappointed. I knew a few of his songs but I got a little bored during his set. I don't know, I just felt like all the songs were about drinking beer . I know, I know, he is a country singer...but still. I was bored. Therefore none of his pics make it to the blog. Plus, they all turned out super blurry...

After what seemed like forever Mr. Aldean made his grand entrance. It was awesome! Time went by much too quickly. He was fabulous and at times I felt like I was at a Rock concert instead of a Country concert and that made me happy. At one point his lead guitarist did what you would call a "face-melting" solo to which Jason replied, "That's my kind of country music right there..."

Yeah, buddy!

 

If possible, I am now a bigger fan.  Basically, it was amazing!
