Easter...

Since this year we weren't able to go up to Jared's parents and colored eggs, we decided to do it on our own. It wasn't the normal tradition but it was still fun. Except that I forgot we had boiled a dozen eggs and about 2 weeks later found them in the fridge. Gross!
Oh well, they look pretty anyway.

The next day we went with my family for our Annual Easter party. Jared's family put theirs on delay since there was still snow in Mantua. They postponed it until this weekend so stay tuned.
The kids LOVE the trampoline! They especially love it when Jared plays dodge ball with them while they jump.
Of course, there was an Easter Egg Hunt.

And some action shots on the Trampoline!

We had a wonderful Easter. We always do! I'm so grateful for all that we enjoy and for our families.
The next weekend was General Conference and it was so good. This was the first Conference in a long time that I watched all 4 sessions live and heard EVERY talk. It touched me and I enjoyed it so much. There were so many talks that I felt were exactly what I needed to hear and I'm so grateful for the Spirit it brought into our home. LOVED IT!

BOWLING...

We are becoming quite the bowlers. Actually, that is a lie.
Jared is pretty good and I seem to get worse the more I go.
In the last while we have gone a couple of times and had a grand time.
The first time was with my family and we went Cosmic Bowling.
The kids thought it was pretty awesome.

After we had bowled our little hearts out, we went to good ole' JC's Diner in Tremonton for dinner.
Ah, JC's Diner. Good memories.
Then a week or two later, we went bowling in Ogden with Jennie. Once again, we had a great time.
I think Jared beat us, since I can't remember I guess that's what happened.
If I had won I would not forget about it.

After bowling, more food was involved.
This time, Pizza Factory and their breadsticks in all of their glory.

Way Too Much...

Since I am so far behind on updating this, I decided the best thing to do was one massive post about the last two months. I am sorry. Apologies mainly to Mom and Doug, since you are the ones who remind me to update this bad boy. I have to reiterate that if you would just get smartphones you could use Instagram, which is taking over my life. Which leads me to my next point, Instagram is taking over my life. Instead of, "I should blog about this" it is now, "I should Instagram this". It has potential of becoming a problem.

Enough about that, let's recap what's happened.
New Year's Eve: This is one of my favorite Holidays simply because there is always good food and games invlolved. That pretty much sums up a good time. This year we were with my family. Jason made some ribs, which I hear were delish but I don't like ribs so....I will just take their word for it.
As you can see, there were lots of ribs.
And other food...
and games...

We played Just Dance 4. Shockingly fun. Who knew I enjoyed dancing? I mean, not in front of others when I'm supposed to look normal, but in front of family I was ok looking like a dork.

Things started to get weird when we broke out the party hats, and the later it got, and the more tired we got. Those things seem to happen.

On January 19, we made a random trip to SLC to see a Jazz game. We were just kind of bored that day and wanted to get out of the house and that seemed like a fun thing to do. They played the Cavs and won. It was fun. We went down a little early and did some shopping, ate at Dickey's BBQ, then went to the game.

Recently, Jared bought a new toy. It's a gun. A Ruger .22 or something like that. I don't remember but he likes it. We had to drive up to Mantua and test it out.

Didn't stand a chance...
Also, it has snowed SO MUCH this winter. So we have spent lots of time shoveling the driveway. Jared mostly, but occasionally I help out.

We went snowbaording again. It was amazing and so much fun.

I like this pic because you can see Jared in my googles. Also, I did it on purpose so I was proud of my efforts.
We had some game nights, hence the "game faces"
One day, Anger came over and we took lots of wierd pics and laughed a lot. Then we laughed some more, then we had some good talks, then we laughed some more. Oh, and we played guitar in there somewhere.

My nephew, Luke, turned 1! Woo! He is really cute. Also, the older he gets the less he cries when I try and hold him. It's a win/win situation.

Have I mentioned the snow? This is a pic of Jared's parents back porch absolutely covered in snow.
This is Jared and Matt shoveling snow off of their roof. It took them a while.
Oh, and since Valentine's Day was this last week, I got some beautiful flowers from my gem of a husband. I would just like to point out that he is adorable.
For Valentine's Day we didn't want to fight the crowds of that night so we just got a "heart-shaped" pizza from Papa Murphy's and spent a quiet night at home.

Then on Friday night Jared took me out for our "official" Valentine's dinner at Elements. I will try to put into words how delish it was, but I probably can't. I will just say that I will find any reason I can to go back and eat more of their food.

Our dessert. Are you kidding me?
That probably set a record for longest post ever. It gets kind of overwhelming when you try to do it all at once, I should stop procrastinating.

To sum it up. We have lots of fun and life is good.
