We're Pals

The other day I babysat my nephew Blakely while his brother and sister went to the dentist.

We played trucks. Although I apparently am not good at this game. I thought you were supposed to like bang the trucks into each other, but he didn't seem amused. He did laugh when I drove the truck off the table though..woo, 2 points for me!!And we went for a walk...a long walk. That pretty much summed up our time. We walked around the entire apartment complex(places I had not been), checked the mail, played with a kitty, and jumped in the leaves. I thought maybe his short little legs would get tired, but in the end I seemed more worn out than him. Then when everyone got back from the dentist we went and got a Jamba and some lunch..BTW, try the new Pumpkin Jamba, it does not disappoint! Good times!

FALLow Me

A few days ago I went down to Provo to spend some time with my friend Anger. When we get together we tend to act like 12 year-old girls....just to warn you.
This is in Anger's hapt, it's a mirror with a gun on it. Cool Picture, right? This is me wearing a portion of her Halloween costume. I really liked it.
hmm...
I have no way to explain...
Then last night I got a happy surprise when Jared called and said he was being sent home early from work...YAY!!!! We have a tradition that every fall we go on a drive up Logan Canyon and look at the leaves(since they are my favorite). And since this might have been the only chance he would get to spend time together for a few weeks, we decided to go. Tony's Grove
I love pathways covered in leaves. I wish my pictures were doing justice to how beautiful it is up there.

Fall FUN

Saturday night my sisters and I took their kids to a corn maze while the husbands went to Presthood session. Was this a smart decision? Well...maybe for the first hour it was pretty fun. However, after that we were getting slightly concerned we might die in this corn maze. But within the next half hour we were outta there..starving, but done!

The beginning of our adventure
Carter. He is a very slow walker by the way...usually behind everyone else by about 20 feet. He seemed fine by it though. What was our hurry anyway?
Trudging along.
Blake seemed to enjoy running in the dirt and hiding in the corn
They had these scary guys scattered throughout. I guess to help you remember if you were going in circles...Which, of course, we did a lot.
I scuuurrrred!!!!
YAY!!!!! WE FINISHED!!!! WE DIDN'T DIE FROM COLD AND STARVATION!!! WOO!!!
Who says girls aren't good with directions?
