IT'S OFFICIAL!!!!

I GOT THE JOB!!!!

My boss, Scott, called me on Saturday night and offered me the job. I accepted, of course. There had been rumors swirling about my place of employement and everyone seemed to think I was gonna get it. I knew as soon as I started to believe the rumors, they would hire someone else.

I feel excited and a little nervous. I have never been a supervisor over others so this will be a learning experience for sure. I know some people have faith in me and I hope I don't let them down. I hope my co-workers are patient with me. I still can't believe its real! I did some training today and I think it kind of hit me....oh ya, it's official! Crazy, but awesome!

Hot Tubbin' in the Rain

Tonight we went to the hot tub. When we first moved in I thought we would go out to the hot tub all the time. But for some reason we always kind of forget its there. We remembered tonight...

And then it started raining really hard and we got kind of nervous so we went in. But it was fun while it lasted. I love the rain! It reminded me of that part in Forrest Gump when he is in Veitnam and he is talking about all the different kinds of rain they have been through...little bity stingy rain, big ole' fat rain, etc.

A Day In SLC....

I needed to go shopping real bad. The weather is slightly warming and I have absolutely no cute clothes to wear in those situations. Also we are getting pictures done on Saturday and we needed to get some outfits. So Thursday we headed down to SLC to do some damage. Since we were there why not hit up our favorite place for some dinner?
And look who met us there....it's Anger. We had fun. We had a great waitress named Tiffany who was surprisingly hilarious. We chatted, ate our amazing food....

If I was your boss would you listen to me? (That was a rhetorical question....)

My boss is leaving on a mission next month and I applied for her job. I debated whether I should apply for the positon for quite some time. I have never thought of myself as "boss" material and I feel as though my co-workers felt the same way. So when the opportunity presented itself I naturally shined away from it. Then my boss kind of told me she thought I would be awesome for the job. After all, she is the person to know who could hack it.

Hmm.... I was confused.

I figured I could always apply and just see what happens. If I had a change of heart I didn't have to accept the position if it were offered to me. Live with no regrets, right?

So my interview is tomorrow....eeek! I'm nervous. What if I don't get it then I have to come back and be like, "maaa! I didn't get it!" Welp, guess we just wait and see what happens.
