The other night at work I had an eperience that I can say I have never had before. Betsy likes to worry about things. She is such a sweet lady, but she spends her entire day in her room worrying about who will be taking care of her that day, what time her doctor appointments are, why I can't come in every 5 minutes and visit with her, etc. She just worries too much. So that particular night she was not feeling well and seemed quite agitated. As I was putting her in bed she randomly asked, "Are you LDS?"
"Why yes I am." I replied
A few minutes passed and nothing more was said about the subject. I got her a glass of water and closed her blinds and then she said, "Would you mind offering a word of prayer for me?"
I'm not gonna lie a was thrown off a little bit. But little Betsy looked so cute and sweet there in bed and I couldn't help but say, "Sure."
So we prayed together and I must say it was quite the spiritual experience that I shared with Betsy. The CNA and patient that pray together, stay together I guess.
And while I'm here I might as well tell you that tomorrow/Saturday we are moving to our new apartment in Logan. I must say I'm pretty excited to see all of my stuff that has been packed away for 3 months.

Oh see, now that was a good post. I smiled to myself picturing you praying with the Paysh. Good move Beth, good move. P.S. If you want to love me for the rest of your life, go onto FOX.com and watch the show "more to love", which just happens to be the Bachelor with people of size (that's what we have to call them in nursing) you are going to love!
I want to meet Betsy. And maybe even day a wordnof prayer with her. :) serious
That's so adorable. You should put that phrase on the wall of your new apt in vinyl.
Sweet. Way to seize the blessing op!
I bet that meant a lot to her.
