I Thought I Was TOOO COOL For School.....
You know how every year about this time you start to get that excitement for fall? The leaves changing, the air getting cooler, football games, school starting, trick or treating...all that good stuff. Well, I have that feeling and a little bit of that feeling that I need to go to school. So I am. I have decided to be a nurse. I just registered for a couple of classes at Bridgerland...just prerequisites but it is a start. It might take me a few years since I wont be able to start the actual nursing program until Jared graduates...but like I said at least it is a start. I will get my LPN through Bridge and then probably go to Weber for my RN, depending on where we are at that time. Why have I waited for so long to make this decision? Who knows. I really have never wanted to be a nurse but a few weeks ago it just clicked and I wanted it. Jared has always said I should be a nurse but I never considered it. SO here goes. I haven't been to school in forever so this will be weird. I will have a couple of online classes and one on Wednesday nights. I guess now I will start wearing my glasses again so I can be a smarty pants... As Elle Woods would say, "I so look the part"

Congrats! I have had those same thoughts lately. But, the timing isn't right for me quite yet. I too am going to be a Nurse, but have always known it.....I've always been drawn to it. Good luck with it all. The prerequisites are't too bad, I do know that the Bridgerland LPN program is very rigid (m-f 8:30-4!), but very good. I wish you the best and think you are making an excellent choice! It gets SO MUCH harder with kids. Hence my "timing" issues.
Congrats Sarita! We can go into "the biz" togetha!
May Elle Woods be your guide in your new journey. She got in to Harvard Law you know...like it was hard.
(I love "Anger's" comment-haha)
